Ashley Tisdale was discovered by her manager who still is that today when she was only 3 years old in her hometown, Monmouth County, in New Jersey/USA. Already at this young age she was a star in advertising, she was in more than 100 spots. When she was 8 years old, Ashley played the leading-role in the broadway-play "Les Miserables". AFter that, she toured internationally with the play "Annie". Because of her early experiences on stage, Ashley loved music. When she was 19, she got the role of Sharpay Evans in the little Disney Musical 'High School Musical'. The soundtrack got tripple-platinum and was the most successful album of 2006. Ashley got 2 songs on the record (What I've Been Looking For & Bop To The Top). With those songs, she was the first female singer to be at Billboard-Hot-100 with 2 songs at the same time. in February 2006 her debut-Album "Headstrong" released. Ashley works as an actor, singer and dancer since 17 years. "Being in the spotlight is definitely hard, but it's worth it," says Ashley. Her favorite food is Shushie and Pizza.
